Deposits and refunds

The waiting list

Joining is free. We build a fixed number of homes each week and invite people in the order they joined. We may occasionally move someone (for example, a closing-date gift), and we'll never charge you for your place.

When your slot opens we email you. The invite holds for a limited time, shown in the email. If you don't reserve, you keep your place and we offer you a later week; after a second missed invite, you move to the end of the line.

Your deposit

A deposit reserves your build week. It is fully refundable, for any reason, until you approve your final design. Cancel from your account and it's refunded to your card (usually within 5–10 business days).

When you approve your final design, we start sourcing the parts for your house. From that moment the deposit is no longer refundable, and the balance is charged to the card you used.

After it ships

Each house is made to order for you, so we can't accept returns for a change of mind.

If anything arrives missing or damaged, tell us within 30 days and we'll send the pieces, free. If we can't make it right, we'll refund you.
